LYOPHILIZER (FREEZE DRYER)
MODEL: MKSI-134
1. Suitable for multiuser centralized laboratory application, pilot plant determination etc.
2. Inner Body: Inner chamber made of Stainless steel.
3. Outer Body: outer chamber develop using high grade mild steel with powder coated finish. This coating keeps safe the unit from rust and normal scratches.
4. Insulation between inner & outer wall with polyurethane foam (PUF) for minimum loss between outer and inner chambers.
5. Coming fitted with 100/200 litters/ min double stage rotary vane type vacuum pump with air ballast providing for vacuum of 1x10-3 mbar on pump head.
6. PUF insulated finish provided between outer as well as inner chambers that provides for minimal thermal losses.
7. Featuring condenser trap for all non-magnetic stainless steel fabricated as well as argon arc welded dished-bottom which provides for complete removal of effluents.
8. System featuring refrigeration coils developed using heavy insulated copper bonded to outside of condenser for delivering temperatures up to (-) 40 / ±1°C at ambient temperature of 20°C.
9. High accuracy maintained in temperature control through use of microprocessor based digital temperature indicator cum controller.
10. Provision of 6 or 12 (Optional) port manifold vacuum drum that works as main drying chamber.
11. Freeze Dryer offered features stainless steel construction and comes with provision of Perspex see through lid that provides for optimum process handling. Other than this, the system also includes support in form of gasket as well as microprocessor based digital temperature controller cum indicator that allows for accurate measurements of temperature. Further, the presence of vacuum indicator as well as hermetically sealed compressor support also provides for optimum functional support provided to the system.

Freeze-drying (also known as lyophilisation) is a dehydration process typically used to preserve perishable material or make the material more convenient for transport. Freeze-drying works by freezing the material and then reducing the surrounding pressure to allow the frozen water in the material to sublime directly from the solid phase to the gas phase. Freeze Dryers with the Cascade Refrigeration systems reach -80°C and are ideal for freeze drying samples with substances having a minimum melting point.
